Being raised with the tradition of the Mexican Charro, Alfonso grew up with the rope and livestock. The unique Reata roping style was developed by the mexican cowboys (vaqueros), who took these skills northward to the United States.
This style emphasizes control, safety, and eloquence, with roping shots for catching livestock in a variety of situations.
This course will benefit the first time roper as well as the advanced roper.
His home spun videos, „Basic Roping“ and „The Roping of the Vaqueros“ (showing 20 different shots) are still sold after 25 years on the market and have helped many roping enthusiasts.
